Located in the Baxter Costco, Dr. Clayton specializes in eye care for the entire family providing pediatric eye exams, complete ocular health assessments, and contact lens fittings.
We are conveniently located near the front entrance of Costco Wholesale. We are available for evening and weekend appointments and welcome walk in patients when available.
Dr. Clayton is an Independent Doctor of Optometry. A Costco membership is not required to schedule an eye exam, but is needed if you wish to purchase your glasses or contact lenses from Costco.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Breena Clayton
Dr. Breena Clayton moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 2013. She is native to rural North Dakota, and attended Dickinson State University in Dickinson, ND for her undergraduate studies in music education. Dr. Clayton received her Master of Education Degree in Visual Function in Learning and her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Clayton completed a primary eye care residency at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City, Oregon.
She enjoys providing primary eye care for the entire family including pediatric eye exams, complete ocular health assessments, and contact lens fittings.
Dr. Clayton resides in Brainerd with her husband, Daniel (owner of Associates in Eyecare), and three young sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, music, crochet, and painting.
